OH GOD, NOT ANOTHER FUNNY JOB AD!
If you’re a graphic and motion design student or graduate and want to gain experience in a digital agency, then you should write us.
Look: we know it’s difficult out there for students, especially for creative students. You need a job, but you need experience for a job, but to get the experience you need the job, but if you didn’t have a job…
Then there’s these weird job ads which are trying to lure you in with “free coffee, fresh fruits, cereals” like the witch in the Hansel and Gretel. Or they brag about their cool looking office, like anyone cares.
Or they make “fun” references about what your talents should be: “You should be fluent in instagram, twitter and snapchat.” Two agency guys just sitting in front of the job ad draft “Dude, write something like you should be better with twitter than Donald Trump LOL” – Like Donald Trump is a measurement for anyone or anything. Of course, you should be better with social media than him, a blind dog on crack is better with social media than Donald Trump.
WHAT IS THE GODDAMN JOB?!
And you’re sitting at home, in front of your computer, reading this job ad which is supposed to be funny, and fresh, and new, and creative, when in reality you’ve red thousands of these agency ads, and you’re just thinking: “Just tell me what the goddamn job is already!” And you are absolutely right. So we’ll cut the crap:
Visual / Motion

THIS IS THE GODDAMN JOB:
Supporting graphic & motion designers on client projects
Leading internal and experimental design projects
Short-form animations for digital campaigns
Motion packages with a strong sense of brand identity and originality
Long-form narrative pieces that illustrate complex ideas
Regular check-ins and weekly jour-fixe with creative team (crew love is true love)
Participate in regular strategy meetings and hackathons (1x per month)
